WHY VICE CHAIRMAN?
This position is one of the most important offices in the Society and as the Vice Chairman’s primarily responsible is to safeguard the members interests and ensuring that the Society is acting in a way which promotes the marketing interests.

WHAT DO I SEEK TO ACHIEVE IF ELECTED?

1. Membership – Membership is the core mandate of the Society and I intend to work with the board and the secretariat and engage in recruitment of new members and retention of both corporate and individual members.
2. MSK Draft Bill – As MSK is pursuing the bill, I intend to mobilize the members of parliament to support the bill while also sourcing funds to facilitate the process.
3. Events – Events are the key revenue generation for the Society outside membership. I intend to work with the secretariat in getting delegates to attend the events.
4. MSK Academy – I intend to work with the board and the secretariat in revamping the MSK academy including the syllabus and recruitment of students.
5. Fundraising – Generally globally, membership bodies rely on fundraising to support activities. I intend to source sponsors to support the Society activities.
6. Regional Chapters – For national representation, it is important MSK to revamp the regional chapters and get marketers to conduct activities within there regions. This will increase membership and visibility of the Society.
7. Consultancy – I intend to get brands to work with the Society as this will help in generating revenue.
