He has a rich knowledge and hands on experience in the above areas and has a passion for branding. He has participated in campaigns for localising the global remittances brand Western Union Money Transfer which is now a well-known brand in Kenya. James Ombogo Onditi is currently the Manager Administration and Finance at Kenyatta University-Women’s Economic Empowerment Hub.

James Ombogo Onditi is currently the Manager Administration and Finance at Kenyatta University-Women’s Economic Empowerment Hub. The Hub was established by a grant from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on Initiatives for What Works for Women’s Economic Empowerment. James is also the Manager Business Development at Kenyatta University-Capacity Development and Consultancy Services since August 2018; Mr. Onditi served in the same capacity under the Kenyatta University-Consultancy Services Unit (KUCSU) from June 2016. Previous to joining KU, he served at Kenya Industrial Estates Ltd (KIE) as Assistant Manager Business Development and Financial Services (September 2012 to June 2016 ), Acting Manager Business Development Department (May 2013 to January 2014), Senior Officer Risk Management (June 2011 to September 2012). While at KIE, James was instrumental in the process of setting up the Risk Management and Credit Appraisal procedures, he also helped in re-engineering business processes at the Business Development Department. He was in charge of client generation, credit appraisal and disbursement at the parastatal. Additionally, he has undertaken and managed a number of consultancies and Business Development Services (BDS) projects. Before joining KIE, Mr. Onditi served at Equity Bank Limited as a Supervisor Agency Banking and Acquiring Business Channels (ABC) (April 2010 to June 2011). He was pivotal in establishing the first banking agents for Equity Bank in Nairobi Eastern Region based at Donholm Branch. He also served as a Relationship Officer Credit (August 2008 to April 2010). As a credit officer, James set up the initial group lending credit portfolio for the branch. Mr. Onditi holds a Masters of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi (UON, 2014), Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Business) Degree from Kenyatta University (KU, 2008) and a Diploma in Information Management Systems (IMIS-UK) from Strathmore University. He is currently pursuing PHD in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Nairobi. He is an Associate Member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK). He has previously judged for the Agricultural Society of Kenya, Tangaza University College, and moderated for the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). Rosalind is currently the Group Director of Marketing, Communications, and Citizenship at KCB Group PLC, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, having joined KCB in September 2021 from NCBA Group PLC where she served in a similar capacity. She is a Board Member at the KCB Foundation, the social investment arm of KCB Group PLC.
