MSK is growing and we want to walk together with our members as we strengthen our society. Towards this end, we have embarked on some projects to help bring us closer to our vision of being

the force behind business and to help you achieve your objectives of registering as member with us. Below, you will find some of the value add activities that we are embarking for next year.

As the country moves from the generation of paper to digital, we at MSK are fully embracing the digital era and on 20th November, 2015 we shall launch a new revolutionary website working in partnership with Dotsavvy. Some of the things that you can look forward to on this new site is to get updated information and newsletters, information on the MSK professional services, more interactivity, ability to subscribe for newsletters and updates, we will also be conducting online polls and surveys for our information databank as well as for our members. As an MSK member you will be in a position to subscribe for our Sokoni magazines online, fill in any of our forms online, make payments for event tickets, memberships and sokoni magazine online as we go paperless .

Last year, we held a very glamorous gala that attracted the top industry professionals who obeyed the black tie theme and were dressed to the nines. This year we trust that you will join us once again on the 20th of November as we celebrate 50 years of the Marketing Journey.

On our events calendar, you will find the events that we have proposed to have next year. We at MSK are looking to have more activities nexy year to grow you and reap full membership benefits; business connects ,summits, workshops and after all the knowledge feed we will have marketers fitness and team buildings as we travel Kenya. As we also strive to give our events a better outlook we welcome your criticism, feedback as well as your expectations from our events.

On the Sokoni Magazine, we are rebranding it to make it more relevant to you the thought leader and to the industry. From this we will be featuring the top 50 industry thought leaders, on our 50th Anniversary issue. Let us contribute and share our expertise with fellow marketers. Your engagement counts!

I am proud to say the mentorship program has kicked of well, headed by MSK Chairperson Maggie Ireri. The 1st series has been concluded and we had great Mentors from the industry, Joe Otin, Maggie Ireri, Jane Gaty, Susan Makau, Waithera Ng’ang’a amongst others. Are you a student member and are not participating in the mentorship program? Do not miss out on the opportunity to learn and grow. Register for the next series today.
